After a few years of an effort and searching we have bought a beautiful place suitable for our activities - a former convent garden in Chotesov, South Pilsen district, GPS 49°39’10.184” N, 13°11’56.751“ E, you can see the aerial view
here (opens in a new window). Moreover we have admitted a new member of our team - Lucie Virostkova who is well-oriented and educated in the social field.
In the December 2008 we registered the civic assiciation Convent Garden which is going to be the partner for the public and all the institutions and officials in the process of realization of our plans.
In the place we would like to establish a centre for holding
courses oriented to the personal and spiritual development, ecological lifestyle and habitation. In connection to the character of the place we have added a new significant intention to our project:
Revitalization of the baroque convent garden which will be accessible to the public offering and events of culture and education. The advantage of the place is the convent complex next door where we would like to run further activities -
the training of social workers and therapists involved in the field of conscious birthing, conscious dying and crisis intervention cooperating with our partner
Jacqueline Maria Longstaff who is known as the author of the project entitled "Cosmic Airport".
And last but not least we would like to offer in the centre
a couple of protected job positions for people with learning difficulties.
In the future we would like to offer to the public following activities:
- courses of small ecological farming (bio-gardening, herbs cultivation)
- traditional craft industry
- artetherapy, musicotherapy, canistherapy and similar
The main points of our intention:
1. Buying a suitable building and its reconstruction
2. Revitalization of the baroque convent garden
3. Establishing a centre of education
4. Setting up the protected job positions for people with learning difficulties
To finance our project we would like to use besides our own resources the EU grants and gifts from the physical and juridical persons.
